Providing You with Health Care at Home

 

Friends & Family Homecare is a Minnesota PCA Choice Provider Agency that was established in 2002 and offers services to persons who need help with day-to-day activities allowing them to be more independent in their own home and community.  PCA Choice gives eligible recipients more control over their own care by allowing them to hire, train, schedule and supervise their own PCA’s.  They work as partners with Friends & Family Homecare to offer guidance and handle the administrative paperwork.  It is the role of the PCA to be able to help you with activities of daily living when you have a chronic illness, injury or if you are emotionally disabled.

 

PCA services are available to eligible recipients covered by Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA), Minnesota Care Expanded Benefits (KK and LL) and certain identified state programs.  

 

We also are licensed to provide in-home and out-of-home respite care.  Respite care offers relief to the family of a child or adult with long term disabilities and can be provided in the family home or residential care facility. Respite services strengthen family systems while protecting the health and well-being of both caregivers and recipients. 

 

Friends & Family Homecare is a contracted provider with South Country Health Alliance, Medica, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medical Assistance.
